How to Print Multi-page Booklets?
Designing your own booklets might seem like a daunting task, but it’s easier than it looks! Our handy templates serve as a helpful guide in determining the trim, bleed, and border in your booklet. Booklet Printing Frequently Asked Questions
What is saddle-stitching?
Saddle stitching is one of the most common binding methods in booklet printing. Single sheets of paper, printed on both sides, are folded in half and stapled in the middle.
What is the minimum number of pages for booklet printing? Is there a maximum?
With booklet printing, each spread is equal to 4 pages so the page increments go up in fours as well. The minimum amount for a saddle-stitched booklet is 8 pages. The maximum page count depends on the thickness of the paper stock. For paper saddle-stitched booklets, XpressColor offers a maximum of 40 pages.
Do I need to supply fonts?
As long as your print-ready file is in PDF format, there is no need to. If you’ll be sending your print-ready file in another format, we may need to request a copy of the font.
What’s the minimum number of booklets I can order?
You can order a minimum of 5 booklets. You can also go up to 250 pieces as well. If you have a number in mind that’s not indicated in our drop-down options, we will be happy to provide a free quote on a custom quantity.
