Full-Bleed, Edge-to-Edge Booklet Printing

Create booklets with full-color backgrounds, photographs, and designs extending to the finished edges.

XpressColor offers full-bleed booklet printing when artwork is properly prepared for edge-to-edge trimming.

For best results:

• Include 0.125" (1/8") bleed beyond the finished trim size.
• Keep important text, logos, and design elements inside the safe area.
• Use high-resolution images at 300 DPI when possible.
• Submit artwork at the correct finished booklet size.

If your artwork does not contain sufficient bleed, our team may attempt minor adjustments when feasible.

However, seamless background reconstruction, exact color matching, and trimming results cannot be guaranteed. Artwork without adequate bleed may have white edges, uneven backgrounds, or cropped design elements.

Easy Booklet Artwork Preparation

For accurate printing, we recommend uploading one multipage PDF containing individual pages in numerical reading order.

For example, an 8-page booklet should be arranged as follows:

• Page 1: Front Cover
• Page 2: Inside Front Cover
• Pages 3–6: Interior Pages
• Page 7: Inside Back Cover
• Page 8: Back Cover

For a 12-page booklet, Page 1 is the Front Cover and Page 12 is the Back Cover. The same principle applies to every available page count.

Please submit individual pages rather than printer spreads. XpressColor handles the page arrangement for printing, folding, and saddle-stitch binding.

All booklet page counts must be multiples of four, including the cover pages.

Important: Same-day booklets are printed as submitted. No digital or manual artwork proofs are provided for same-day orders.

Orders received after the cutoff, or artwork requiring significant corrections, may move to the next available production schedule.
