Upload Your Same-Day Booklet Artwork

To ensure accurate printing and on-time production, please upload your completed, print-ready booklet artwork.

We recommend submitting one multipage PDF with individual pages arranged in numerical reading order. XpressColor handles the page arrangement for printing, folding, and saddle-stitch binding.

Booklet Artwork Preparation & Page Order

Each page in your PDF should represent one individual finished booklet page.

Example: 8-Page Booklet

• Page 1: Front Cover
• Page 2: Inside Front Cover
• Pages 3–6: Interior Pages
• Page 7: Inside Back Cover
• Page 8: Back Cover

For a 12-page booklet, Page 1 is the Front Cover and Page 12 is the Back Cover. The same rule applies to all booklet page counts.

Important: Do not submit two-page spreads or manually arrange pages for booklet printing. Submit individual pages in numerical order. XpressColor handles booklet imposition.

Artwork File Requirements

• Preferred Format: Multipage, print-ready PDF.
• Other Accepted Formats: AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPG.
• Resolution: 300 DPI recommended at actual print size.
• Color Mode: CMYK recommended for more predictable print results.
• Bleed: Add 0.125" (1/8") beyond the finished size on all sides where artwork extends to the edge.
• Safe Area: Keep important text, logos, and design elements at least 0.125" inside the finished trim edge.
• Page Count: Must be a multiple of four, including the cover pages.
• Page Size: All pages must use the same finished dimensions and orientation.

• Maximum File Size: 500 MB per uploaded file.

Full-Bleed Printing & Artwork Adjustments

Full-bleed booklet printing is available for designs with backgrounds, colors, or images extending to the finished edges.

For best results, your artwork should include the required bleed from the original design.

If your file does not include sufficient bleed, XpressColor may attempt minor artwork adjustments when feasible. However, bleed reconstruction, seamless background matching, and exact trimming results are not guaranteed.

Files without proper bleed may result in white edges, uneven backgrounds, or important artwork being trimmed.

Important — Same-Day Production Policy

Same-Day Order Cutoff: 12:00 PM Eastern Time

To qualify for same-day production:

• Your order must be placed and paid by 12:00 PM Eastern.
• Complete, print-ready artwork must be received by the cutoff.
• Your file must meet the selected booklet size, page count, and production requirements.

Same-day orders are printed as submitted. No digital or manual artwork proofs are provided.

Please carefully verify spelling, page order, images, page orientation, dimensions, and artwork quality before submitting your files.

Orders received after the cutoff, or orders requiring significant artwork corrections, may move to the next available production schedule. Same-day production is subject to capacity and material availability.

Upload Artwork Later

If your artwork is not ready, you may choose Upload Artwork Later during checkout.

However, production cannot begin until your complete, print-ready artwork has been received.

Choosing this option does not reserve or guarantee same-day production. Missing or late artwork may delay your order.
